EGG COOKING METHOD: BAKED EGGS
Nutriplus Classic eggs (1 for each portobella mushroom)
Portobella mushrooms (stem removed, wiped clean)
Cheddar cheese slices or grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper
Cooked sweet corns
Spray the mushroom caps with olive cooking oil on both sides and season with salt and pepper. Broil 5min for both sides or until just tender. Remove from oven;
Use spoon to scoop egg whites in the well of mushrooms and sprinkle with cheddar cheese slices;
Bake in preheated oven at 200 degree Celcius for 10min. or just until the egg white are almost set, remove from oven;
Add an egg yolk on each egg white and continue baking for 2 to 3 min.
Wipe but don't wash when cleaning.
Pre-broil to release some of water from mushroom.
Avoid baking too long or the mushrooms would be soggy.
Cut from nori sheet: tiny circles (2 for each egg yolk), triangles (1 for each yolk), 2cm strips (1 for each yolk), 1cm strips (6 for each yolk), and arch line (2 for each yolk);
Put 2 sweet corns apart on each egg yolk as the ears;
Eyes = 2 circles;
Nose = triangle and 2cm strip;
Mouth = 2 arch lines join together to form a "W";
Whisker = 1cm strips, three strips on each side of face.
