Nasi Ayam Geprek
Ingredients:
For the rice:
2 cups rice
2 cups water
For the chicken:
NutriPlus Ayam Goreng Ranggup Pedas Gilerr
For the sambal geprek:
10 bird’s eye chilies
2 fresh red chilies
3 cloves garlic
½ tomato
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp lime juice
To serve:
Lettuce, sliced cucumber, and tomato
Instructions:
1. Cook the rice: Rinse the rice and cook with water until done. Fluff and set aside.
2. Prepare the chicken: Deep fry or air fry the NutriPlus Ayam Goreng Ranggup Pedas Gilerr until crispy and golden.
3. Make the sambal geprek: Heat oil in a small pan. Add bird’s eye chilies, fresh red chilies, garlic, and tomato. Sauté until soft and fragrant, then transfer to a mortar. Add salt, sugar, and lime juice, then pound roughly to form a coarse sambal.
4. Assemble: Place rice and fried chicken in a tiffin. Spoon the sambal geprek over the chicken and gently press (“geprek”) to coat.
5. To serve: Add lettuce, cucumber, and tomato for freshness. Serve warm in a lunch tiffin for a satisfying spicy meal.
