MOO MOO COW POCKET SANDWICHES

EGG COOKING METHOD: HARD BOILED

INGREDIENTS

  • Wholegrain sandwich loaf (or plain bread slices)

  • Rockets (or any salad leaves)

  • Hard boiled eggs (sliced)

  • Mayonaise or any sandwich spread

  • Cheddar cheese 

  • Nori chees

 

THE MAKING: 

  • Place a slice of bread on the pocket sandwich cutting mold and spread mayonaise over bread slices;
  • Arrange rockets or any salad leaves on the bread, then followed by hard boiled egg slices;

  • Place another slice of bread on top;

  • Cover with another side of cutting mold and press hard against each other, then pull out the crust of bread;

  • Tips: To make sure the pocket sandwich seals tightly:

- Warm up bread slices to make it moist before use;

- Avoid covering the cutting mold over the crust of bread.

  • Cut the pocket sandwich into halves;
  • Prepare the COW FEATURES

COW HEAD

  • Cut rectangles out of cheddar cheese slice;

HORNS

  • Cut crescent shapes from those bread crust. Dip one end of the horn with mayonise and stick onto the cow head;

EARS

  • Use any round shape cap to cut sharp-ended oval shapes out of cheddar cheese slice. Glue the ears with mayonise and stick onto the both sides of cow head;

NOSE

  • Use any round shape cap to cut out the cow nose from cheddar cheese slice (press the cap lightly to yeild slight oval shapes)

BLACK PATCHES

  • Cut irregular shapes from nori sheet, spread a thin layer of mayonaise on one side of each black patch and glue them onto the body of those cows;

EYES, NOSE & MOUTH

  • Cut from nori sheets and stick directly ontto the cow head.
